It's late and I'm tired but I want to talk about day 1. I have kicked so many bad habits from nail biting to smoking and drinking that I know I can quit this food abuse too. I have done a lot of research (okay a fair amount of research) and I can see that my trouble with food is similar to every other addiction I ever had. It comes down to yes, I have a problem with food and there are no magic solutions. I have to take responsibility for my life and health.
What I ate today:
Whole wheat toast with peanut butter
blueberries
apple
nectarine
vegetable and quinoa salad
watercress soup
homemade bread (whole wheat) and margarine
Iced tea (homemade).
I want to share my weight loss journey here and talk about what I have learned from all my addictions.
